SAG Awards 2024: “Oppenheimer” Dominates, “The Bear” Makes a Splash
The 30th Screen Actors Guild Awards were a night of surprises and familiar faces, with “Oppenheimer” taking home the top prize for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr. also won for their leading and supporting roles in the film, respectively.
On the television side, HBO’s “Succession” won Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for its final season, while FX’s “The Bear” swept the comedy categories, winning Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, as well as lead actor and actress for Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri.
